Bio
Kevin Lloyd Henning, a Leo, was born on August, 5, 1979. He hails from and still resides in Toledo, Ohio. His choice of music genre is rap. His autobiographical songs are expressive, poetic, and bonafide. They emanate almost effortlessly from pen to paper, and have provided a select few of us (family and friends) with an exquisite listening experience that encapsulates Kevin's perspective in an original, and eloquent style. He has been composing said songs since the early 2000’s. He is taking his time presenting his work to the public so that he can respond to their reactions in a sensible and mature manner.
While Kevin is a talented and impressive lyric writer, he is also a humble and meek aspirer. He hopes to be a success in the music industry, but is patient in pursuing it. His song verses and style are his own, but he has announced his inspirations. Namely, Tupac Shakur, Buddy Holly, and Ritchie Valens. He has fought hard to be where he is today, musically and otherwise. Battling two very ugly demons, called Bipolar Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder (or ADHD), Kevin could have just let either one or both monsters destroy him. Instead, he fought back, still fights back, and has been deemed victorious. He writes music that people will want to hear and listen to. He has been an employee to the same respectable company, UPS aka United Parcel Service for twenty years. His wife of 6 years, and long time friend is very proud of him and quite glad that he loves and cares about his family, friends, and his cats (Choice and Marvelous.)
Kevin's libretto begins back in ancient times, before owning a smart phone was as common and necessary as owning a pair of shoes. Also, before social media was so prevalent and has moved along with the digital and technical advances. His words have been handwritten in spiral notebooks, typed onto computer screens, and secured into various phone apps. His art has been heard via blank cassette, blank CD, and digital download. Kevin's talents have been hidden away from the majority of the world like the precious pearl. And now that he feels ready to allow attainable access to his music, we all can count on having a rare gem to tune in on intently, or to enjoy and just "jam".
